Realtime for Television Animation Production: “Baymax Dreams” and Multi-Platform Asset Reuse

Kaki Navarre is Director of Content Technology for The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer & International division. She manages a cross-functional team focused on transformational technologies that fall at the intersection of creative and engineering disciplines. Previously, Kaki worked in Research & Development for Disney|ABC Television Group, managing exploration, prototyping and technology transfer of disruptive innovations in the TV space. Prior to Disney, she worked in product management and producing, including leading early stage development and production for Whistle, a sports media startup. She is passionate about creative industries, digital media and computer graphics. Kaki earned her Bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
