Heiko Wenczel started his post-graduate career as an architect for Mercedes Benz in 2004 with a focus on planning and visualization.
Targeting data models and processes, he continued working in the plant simulation space and finally joined a team focused on building the next generation visualization and configuration system for Mercedes passenger cars.
With innovations in data management and configurable animations, Heiko joined Mackevision as President and moved to Detroit in 2008 establishing Mackevision Corporation in the Motor City.
Since then, he was involved in several global automotive creative content pipelines for major automotives as well as in the promotion of Mackevision’s innovations by starting and supporting several studios in the US and Asia.
After the acquisition by Accenture Interactive in 2018, Heiko worked as a Managing Director on the transfer of these technologies to all industry verticals.
In a return to innovation and technology Heiko joined Epic Games as an industry manager in 2019 to drive development of next generation data and visualization platforms in automotive and manufacturing.
