Born in France Gaspard graduated from Paris la Villette Architecture school, received a Fulbright Scholarship, and moved to New York to earn a Master of Science from Columbia University. After working 15 years as a technical director and director in the VFX industry, Gaspard co-founded Piranha, an advertising agency that visualised unbuilt architecture like the future World Trade Center. In January 2020 Gaspard became the CEO of the spatial computing pioneer Garou: an XR startup specialised in high fidelity and multi-user worlds built on Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.
